Uruguay glad with a draw?
Uruguay coach Oscar Washington Tabarez said a draw against Colombia at the
Qualifiers can be good or bad, it depends on how the game goes.
Oscar Washington Tabarez said on Thursday that drawing against Colombia in round
7 at the South American Qualifiers "could be good or bad, it depends on how the
game goes."
Uruguay will meet Colombia on Saturday at El Campin stadium, Bogota, a city
located at 2,600 meters over the sea level.
"We'll be there with a winning attitude, even though we know they're going to be
a tough opponent, with great players; in addition, they are ahead of us at the
overall standings," he added.
Tabarez refused to reveal the starting lineup, but he did say he knows how to
play the game in order to get a good result.
"Colombia are unbeaten and they got good resutls, but we also count on excellent
players to get what we want," Tabarez remarked.
Uruguay will fly to Bogota on Thursday, then they will take a look at the venue
of the game.
