Paraguay get agonic draw in Kirin Cup
The team coached by Gerardo Martino showed experience and quick reaction in
first game in Kirin Cup against Ivory Coast, drew 1-1 in the second half.
Paraguay managed to equalize the score by profiting from their experience and
the advantages Ivory Coast gave on the right wing. In addition, the African team
missed a lot of international players, which might have influenced the final
result.
The African team did their job well, especially on the right wing; there, Boka
and Akale played at their whim most of the time.
The second half was exactly the same until Traore's goal, which gave the game
some excitement until Bogado restored the equalizer with a tremendous shot.
