Valdivia: I'd like to play for Brazil
Palmeiras player Jorge Valdivia praised the team coached by Dunga, said he would
like to play for the "verde amarelha" instead of his own national team.
"I would play for Brazil. They always reach finals at the World Cup and Copa
America, that's why I'd choose Brazil to play for". Jorge Valdivia took everyone
by surprise after making these statements.
One of the best Chilean players added, however, that "it won't be possible
because there are Brazilian top players in my place: Ronaldinho, Kaka, Thiago
Neves... I'd return for Chile in a rush".
Despite the statements, Palmeiras player Valdivia said he's still waiting for a
call from Chile coach Marcelo Bielsa for next South American Qualifiers. "The
atmosphere is different now, hope is in the air. Brazil always suffer when they
play in Santiago. There's no win with hands down there".
