Bolivia in Quito for Ecuador clash


The team coached by Erwin Sanchez landed in Quito on Thursday to meet Ecuador on Saturday at the South American Qualifiers.
Bolivia arrived in Quito on Thursday full of optimism to meet the local national team next Saturday at the South American Qualifiers. The team coached by Erwin Sanchez hope to improve their performance in order to climb up at the overall standings.

Even though most of the players refused to talk to the press, midfielder Joselito Vaca and keeper Carlos Arias stated they only think abotu clinching a triumph.

"We know it's going to be tough, but we are focused on our goal, which is to play fine in order to get over the last bad results," Vaca commented.

Arias praised how young and fast Ecuador strikers are. "We must be careful in order to avoid bad surprises," he said.

Regarding the rumors about Sanchez' idea of drawing a super-defensive strategy, Arias said "the most important thing is to do the right thing to earn the win, irrespective of whatever Bolivia coach decides."
