Bolivia builds hope on Martins
Sanchez's side trust the capacity of Cruzeiro's forward Marcelo Martins Moreno towards the friendly match against Venezuela, broadcast through JumpTV.
Marcelo Martins Moreno, who has netted five
times at the Copa Libertadores, was included in Bolivia's line-up. He had a
two-folded training session in Santa Cruz towards Wednesday's match against
Venezuela.
"It's an honor to play for Bolivia's team," Cruzeiro's striker told the media
upon his arrival at Santa Cruz. He added he hopes he can pull a good game and
grab a positive result against Venezuela.
In addition to Martins Moreno, among the players that were called, these are
some foreign names: Jose Carlo Fernandez (Peru's Jose Galvez), Ronald Raldes
(Argentina's Rosario Central), and Lorgio Alvarez (Paraguay's Cerro Porteņo).
The friendly match will be held on Wednesday in Puerto Ordaz, Venezuela, as part
of the qualifiers towards South Africa World Cup 2010, to be resumed next June.
