Mexico and Argentina, face to face again

Watchful eyes are focused on new coach, Sven Goran Eriksson, as El Tri faces Alfio Basile's side on Wednesday, in San Diego, to warm up for the Qualifiers.
Seasoned clash in San Diego. Mexico and Argentina warm up to face their qualifiers for South Africa 2010 and meet on Wednesday in a friendly match staged in USA.

In Mexico the news is the appointment of former Manchester City manager, Swedish Sven Goran Eriksson, as new coach.

El Tri face Belice in their first CONCACAF qualifier for the 2010 World Cup.

Argentina, who plays this friendly and on Sunday faces USA in New Jersey, is getting ready for the South American Qualifiers against Ecuador and Brazil, and it is for these matches that coach Alfio Basile decided to try a new formation.

While it is usual for the Argentine to field four defenders, he will feature a line of three on the back. Though Gabriel Heinze was considered as a doubt, he was confirmed as starter.

Besides, Basile will try a young, offensive trio with Lionel Messi, Sergio Aguero and experienced Julio Cruz.
